Nature and Human Nature

The message of Animal Kingdom is:

If we don’t begin to proactively create culturally compatible environments (families, communities, cities, nations, etc.), then we are headed for increased polarization and continuing, inevitable crises; or at the very least, continuing conflict around the world.

I believe that Nature manifests itself in ways that reflect our collective consciousness. Although some may seek scientific explanations, such as global warming, these may simply be mechanisms for expression, but not the source itself.

I feel our universe exists a one whole. That is, an interconnected reverberation of all events masterminded by a global “mind-set.” We are each a part of this mind-set.

I believe that because it reflects our collective nature, exactly where and how Nature itself is manifest is not important, nor is it random. Instead, we see Nature’s most noteworthy expressions in those areas which, when affected, have the greatest propensity for relieving the stresses created by humankind.

I believe that these expressions—hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis etc.—cannot be classified as either “good” or “bad,” for these values are uniquely human and ignored by Nature; akin to the spiritual expressions within us which result in empathy, compassion, humility, and love.

I see that humankind at times learns only from crises, which force us all to ask: “How would I design a world that worked for all humans, animals, and the global environment?”

I know we are each responsible for reflecting upon our lives and the extent to which our day-to-day activities support a world conducive to mutual respect, sharing, and love – as opposed to the alternative (for there is no neutral in this case).

We are each responsible for both conducting that internal inquiry and for the result—regardless of wealth, health, or station in life. This also applies to entire nations and their governments.

No instruction manual is necessary for action. This is made clear in times of crisis as we innately reach out to one other regardless of differences. We forget that this ability to transcend prejudice and labels is within us at all times!

If more people recognized this, humankind would be transformed.

Comments:
These are beautiful ideas for us all to think abuot. keep it up and you'll help us get back on our feet and talking about the right things and do this right.

ANIMAL KINGDOM Animal Kingdom: A Diversity Fable.
The message of this book is quite simple and straightforward: “When we gain the humility to compatibly resolve our differences — both within and among different groups — we will also gain the wisdom to live and work together in greater harmony.” In Animal Kingdom, the message is to learn to “see through the eyes of others as a necessity to compatibly live and work together to survive an impending crisis. But in order to work together, each group must first learn how to set aside their own opinions, ideas, and even values in order to avoid an impending crisis.
